2 COVID-19 +VE Cases reported from Sundargarh Yesterday

TNI Bureau: The District Administration has confirmed that two out of four COVID-19 positive cases reported last night are from Sundargarh.

The two COVID cases are said to be linked to Tablighi Jamaat in Nizamuddin (one of them is an attendee). Both persons are from Bisra and admitted to Hi-Tech COVID Hospital in Rourkela.

The entire market area in Bisra Sadar has been declared a ‘Containment Zone’. All 1,500 houses will be inspected during contact tracing over the next 48 hours.

The other two positive cases are from Rajnagar, Kendrapara and Jharpada (Bhubaneswar). The second +ve case in Kendrapara is a female with travel history from outside the State.
