At a tender college going age, she became the heartthrob of youth in Odisha. But, call it as destiny; Prakruti Mishra soon started getting more brickbats than bouquets. Some people term her arrogant, while others call her childish. But, she cares a damn. Perhaps, Prakruti believes that the more she will get criticised, her popularity will take an upward turn.
The critics must agree that it’s not easy for any girl to leave such an impression at such a young age. Yes, her father, Music Director Manmanth Mishra could be behind her initial rise, but Prakruti has impressed all with her perfect body, killer look, dance, singing and may be acting to some extent.
Prakruti wants people to notice her. She teases, dares and challenges people on Facebook and gets slammed too. The vulgar and abusive comments on Facebook pages hardly bother her. And, that’s strange for a young girl to take such harsh blows that come too often.
She does not want to close her Facebook accounts. Rather, she wants to be more pro-active and take on her critics. Will it work? Even her well wishers have asked her to focus on her career and stop fighting with the critics. But, it seems she enjoys it all. Now in Mumbai (for study), Prakruti is probably waiting for a big Bollywood ticket, which remains the dream of every aspiring actresses.
