Usha Padhee conducts Late-Night Inspection of sanitation activities in Bhubaneswar

Strengthening urban sanitation, Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, Government of Odisha, carried out a late-night inspection of sanitation activities at various locations across Bhubaneswar.
 
She was accompanied by Chanchal Rana, Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Deputy Commissioner Sanitation N Ganesh Babu and other officers.
 
During the visit, Padhee reviewed commercial sweeping and mechanical sweeping operations being carried out in different parts of the city. She closely observed the on-ground sanitation processes and interacted with the sanitation staff deployed during night hours.
Padhee appreciated the dedicated efforts of the sanitation workforce and BMC officials for their continuous commitment to keep the city neat and clean. She lauded the effective use of mechanised cleaning systems and emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness through round-the-clock sanitation services.
 
The visit underscored the State Government’s focus on improving operational efficiency, and ensuring a clean, healthy and livable environment for the citizens of Bhubaneswar.
