TNI Bureau: ‘The Dark Man’, a physics-based shooting game available on Android devices, has been launched by 7Seas Entertainment, a Hyderabad based game developer. The game is initially available at Google’s Android marketplace.
The complete and paid version of the game is available for $.99 (Rs 54). However, 10 levels of the game are available free of cost for trial.
The game is claimed to be played by 1.5 crore gamers online in the last one year. The puzzle game has 30 levels. All that a user needs to do is to shoot at the targets to earn point.
“The player dons the role of an archer and there are different interesting targets (apples) on the characters’ heads. All a player needs to do is to shoot the apples off their heads without shooting the characters to move on to the next level,” Maruti Sanker, Managing Director of 7Seas Entertainment said.
Sanker also intimated that the game will be offered on Samsung App Store, LG Store and all other Android-supporting app stores and distributor networks in phases.
The BSE-listed 7Seas Entertainment Company has a turnover of Rs 23 crore for 2011-12. The company has considerably grown as while it had a turnover of Rs. 3.72 crore in the first quarter of 2011, this year it has achieved Rs. 5.73 crore in the same quarter.
