TNI Bureau: The Odisha Pradesh Student Congress will stage a protest and gherao of the residence of School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond on Thursday over 1,678 errors found in textbooks for Classes I to VIII.

Acting on the direction of OPCC President Bhakta Charan Das, student leaders and activists will assemble near the OMFED square at Lok Seva Bhawan and march towards the Minister’s residence.
The protesters will demand a public apology from Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the resignation of Minister Nityananda Gond, and strict action against those responsible for the textbook errors.
