TNI Bureau: The death toll in the Tamil Nadu ammonia gas leak incident has risen to 12 after Kavita Juang, a young woman from the Telkoi area of Kendujhar district, succumbed while undergoing treatment.

Kavita had been receiving medical care for injuries sustained in the incident. Her death has brought fresh grief to the affected communities in Kendujhar, from where several of the victims hailed.
Authorities are continuing relief and assistance measures for the affected families, while injured workers remain under treatment.
