Suspected Hizbul Terrorist arrested in Delhi

Delhi police foiled a terror attack in the national capital after arresting a suspected terrorist from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. The suspect has been identified as Liaqat Ali. He is believed to be a member of Hizbul Mujahideen group.

The special cell of Delhi police recovered an AK 47 assault rifle and a cache of ammunitions from the terrorist.

Suspecting a terror strike in the national capital, the Delhi police also raided the Hazi Arafat guest house in Jama Masjid from where two people were detained on Thursday night.

Police recovered some explosives and ammunitions from two people. It is not clear whether the cricket Test match in Delhi was the target of the terrorists.
