TNI Bureau: To prevent any mass gathering or congregation at public places, Section 144 will be imposed in Twin Cities Bhubaneswar and Cuttack tonight.

This is in addition to the Night Curfew imposed in Odisha from 10 PM tonight till 5 AM tomorrow morning.
40 platoons of police forces will be deployed across Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to enforce prohibitory orders.
Twin City Police Commissioner Dr. Sudhanshu Sarangi has appealed people not to congregate at public places and requested all residential complexes and apartments ro cancel the New Year celebration plan tonight.
He also urged people of Odisha to finish their work by 9 PM and return home.
