The Supreme Court has stopped all proceedings in the 1992 Babri Mosque demolition case, bringing huge relief to senior BJP leaders such as LK Advani, MM Joshi and Uma Bharti.

The Supreme Court also disposed 10 petitions related to 2002 Gujarat Riots case, saying the cases have now become infructuous with passage of time.
