The machines were tested and commissioned well ahead of time. The micro fine dust generated by the ESPs will be sucked through pipelines by the machine and will be collected at hoppers and disposed off. A total of 25 to 30 tonnes of dust will be collected and disposed off per day with 12 hours of effective running of the machine.

CET, Rourkela Sub-Centre provided the technological support for the project. The supplier of this machine is M/s. TPS Infrastructure Ltd., New Delhi. The project will immensely contribute towards pollution control measures and providing a dust-free ambience for the benefit of the Sinter Plant-1 collective.
