The defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders were stunned by the Rajasthan Royals that scored their second consecutive victory in the IPL 6. KKR had won their first match, but had to bite the dust this time.

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals scored 144/6 in 20 overs. Ajinkya Rahane made 36, while Brad Hodge remained unbeaten on 46. Sunil Narine took two wickets. In reply, KKR lost wickets at regular intervals and bowled out for 125 in 19 overs to lose the match by 19 runs.
