Rains, Snowfall hit North India

TNI Bureau: Heavy rainfall, hailstones and snowfall lashed several parts of north India, pulling down the mercury on Monday. The poor weather is likely to continue in the coming days. Rains, thunderstorm in Delhi hit the normal life and caused water logging in the city.

The maximum temperature dropped to 19.3 degrees Celsius from 26.3 degrees on Monday in the national capital. The mercury was down in Srinagar. The minimum temperature was 2.2 degrees Celsius in Srinagar.

The MeT forecast that more rains and snowfall are likely in the next two days in the north part of the country.
