TNI Bureau: Despite the massive outrage over the recent gangrape in Delhi, similar incidents still occur elsewhere in the country, which proves that we are living in a society where the moral values have taken a severe beating. Another gangrape occurred in a bus in Punjab, which involved seven people.
The incident occurred in Amritsar. The police have arrested six people, while the seventh accused is still absconding. The 29-year-old victim was targeted by the assailants on Friday night while she was returning to her village on a bus.
The driver and conductor of the bus were also involved in the gangrape. Instead of stopping the bus at her village, they took her to an isolated place and raped her throughout the night. Five others also joined them in that heinous crime.
