Ashraf told the apex court on Tuesday that the government will reopen the case against President Zaradri. The decision came as a surprise as the government had been refusing to follow the court’s order.

Even the last premier had to pay a big price for not reopening the case against Zardari. He was disqualified and ousted from the post of PM after he refused to write a letter to Swiss authorities asking them to reopen the case against Zardari.

He had said that reopening the case against Zardari was not possible as the President was enjoying immunity from prosecution as the head of the state.
