Odisha Announces Free KG-to-PG Education for Economically Weaker Students

TNI Bureau: Odisha Announces Free KG-to-PG Education for Economically Weaker Students as the state government has declared that children from economically weaker sections will now be able to study from kindergarten (KG) to postgraduate (PG) level without paying any fees.

The announcement was made by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi during a press conference held in Bhubaneswar on the occasion of the completion of two years of the BJP government in the state.

The Chief Minister said that under this new initiative, eligible students will not have to pay any tuition or academic fees for their education from KG to PG level. The scheme is aimed at supporting students from economically weaker backgrounds and ensuring equal access to education across the state.
