TNI Bureau: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has expressed support for students protesting against the alleged examination paper leak issue, calling their movement peaceful and driven by a desire for a better education system.
In a post on his X account, Salman said he was saddened by the violence that occurred during the protests and expressed sympathy for the injured students and their families. Describing the paper leak issue as a serious matter, he appreciated the students for coming together to demand reforms and acknowledged the support extended by their parents.
The actor praised the students for their dedication, sincerity and commitment towards education, saying their peaceful protest reflected courage and a strong desire to build a better future for themselves and the country.
Salman also said the issue should remain focused on students and the education system and should not be politicised. He expressed confidence that the government would support efforts to strengthen the education system and hoped for a positive resolution to the issue.
Emphasising the importance of education, Salman said India should aspire to become a global education hub where students from across the world come to study.
