Delhi police arrested one accused in connection with a sexual assault of an Odia woman. Two others are still absconding. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had asked state DGP Prakash Mishra to take necessary action in the case after opposition Congress created ruckus demanding strong action against the culprits.

The victim was raped by three men in a moving car in the national capital two days ago. The incident occurred when she along with her sister was coming from Gurgaon to Munirka where both work. They were stopped by three persons on the way. One of them was forced to go with them towards Shaheen Bag area in a car.

Later, both the sisters filed a complaint at Sarita Vihar police station.
