TNI Bureau: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will chair a key party meeting at Shankha Bhavan in Bhubaneswar on June 10 at 4 PM.
The meeting has been convened for all BJD leaders who contested the last general election but were unsuccessful. Discussions will focus on the party’s future programmes, organisational strengthening, and political strategy.
Special emphasis is expected to be placed on strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level, boosting the morale of party workers, and preparing for upcoming elections.
Participants have been asked to submit brief reports on the implementation of SIR-related programmes assigned by the party, the formation of organisational committees at the block and urban local body levels, and party activities carried out in their respective areas. These reports will be presented to the party president for review.
The meeting is being seen as an important step in shaping the BJD’s future organisational and electoral strategy under Naveen Patnaik’s leadership.
