TNI Bureau: India’s skipper MS Dhoni achieved another milestone, but off the cricket field, as he was made the Vice President of India Cements, which is owned by BCCI President N Srinivasan, signalling a new, but formidable chapter in their friendship.

Dhoni is already part of the India Cements squad, which is part of the BCCI Corporate Cricket Tournament. Ironically, Dhoni is not available to play in the Irani Trophy, but he is ready to play in BCCI Corporate Cricket Tournament as part of India Cements.

The message is now loud and clear for all selectors and top BCCI officials. They cannot dare to remove Dhoni from captaincy unless he gives up on his own. As long as Dhoni enjoys the patronage of Srinivasan, he will rule the roost in Indian cricket.
