Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily has made startling revelations today, claiming threat from the oil import lobbies, who did not want the government to stop imports. He also said that every minister who occupies the post of Petroleum Minister is threatened by the import lobby.

Moily refused to buckle under pressure and said he cannot be threatened. He also admitted that the decision making process and power is being obstructed and aborted on many occasions.

The Left and the BJP have hit out at Moily for his remarks and asked him to reveal the names of people who threaten him. The Left even accused him of working for big corporates of the country.
