Mercury Level reaches All-Time High in Bhubaneswar

TNI Bureau: The heatwave conditions brought the normal life into standstill in Bhubaneswar. The mercury level broke the all-time record in the capital city, as today’s maximum temperature was recorded at 46.7 degrees Celsius.

The previous highest temperature was recorded at 46.5 degrees Celsius on May 22, 1972. However, today’s temperature broke all records, creating a panic among the people.

Meanwhile, the Met Department in New Delhi has confirmed the arrival of South-West Monsoon in Kerala today. Monsoon should reach Odisha towards the second week of June.
