At least 7-10 Ministers may take the oath during the cabinet expansion, it is believed. Former Bihar Minister Giriraj Singh may be inducted into the cabinet. The BJP may induct some Ministers from Rajasthan, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh.

Virendra Singh Mast from Uttar Pradesh and Col Sona Ram from Rajaathan are among the probables to become Ministers. Parrikar has already met BJP President Amit Shah today. He is slated to meet the PM later. The IITian is considered as an honest and transparent man in Indian politics. Thus, Modi has probably chosen him for the most crucial portfolio – Defence.
