Baloch Activist Karima Baloch found dead in Toronto

Karima Baloch, an activist from Pakistan who wanted Balochistan to be free from Pakistan has been found dead at Harbourfront in Canada. Canadian Police have found her body on an Island near Toronto’s lakeshore. Her husband and brother have also identified her body.

Karima was very vocal about her thoughts and intentions of freeing Balochistan from Pakistan. She also opposed the ISI Operatives in Canada and was a brave lady.

Karima Baloch left Pakistan in the year 2016 with the help of some of her friends and fellow Baloch Activists. The reason behind her leaving Pakistan was the threat to her life for going against the Pakistani Regime.

Karima didn’t only challenge the regime but also spoke against them in United Nations sessions in Switzerland. Apart from being an activist in Baloch, she also raised her voice for gender equality and women’s rights.

She also had positive thoughts about India and she also favored the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In 2016, she also wished Narendra Modi on Raksha Bandhan.

Karima Baloch was also named in 100 Most Influential and Inspirational women in 2016 by BBC. Karima was a courageous lady and was admired by many.

The Baloch National Movement has also announced 40 days of mourning for Karima. Indeed, her demise has been a great loss for the Balochistan and Baloch National Movement.
