J&K DDC Elections 2020: BJP wins 75 Seats; NC 67

TNI Bureau:  BJP has emerged as the Single Largest Party in District Development Council (DDC) Elections by winning 75 out of 280 seats in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Farooq Abdullah led Gupkar Alliance won 110 seats. National Conference came second with 67 seats while Independent candidates win 50 seats.

Mehbooba Mufti’s PDP secured 27 seats, while Congress managed to bag 26 seats.

While Gupkar Alliance (PAGD) along with Congress have majority in 13 districts of Kashmir, BJP has won 6 districts in Jammu.
