Amid the controversy, Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda visited the Nuagaon Anganwadi centre in Rajnagar and joined villagers for a community meal, promoting unity and equality. He interacted with residents, who asserted that there was no untouchability and that people of all communities have long lived together peacefully.
