TNI Bureau: India ended their Sri Lanka tour on a new high. They climbed to No. 2 in ICC ODI rankings with a 4-1 series victory. Similarly, they also won the one-off T20 match to move to thr third spot in ICC T20 rankings.

Virat Kohli helped India post 155/3 in 20 overs. Kohli (68), Rahane (21) and Raina (34*) were the top contributors. Eranga took two wickets.
Sri Lanka lost wickets at regular intervals and bowled out for 116 in 18 overs, thus, losing the match by 39 runs. Jayawardene (26), Thirimanne (20) and Mathews (31) were the top scorers. Irfan Pathan, who took three wickets, was declared ‘Man of the Match’. Ashok Dinda took four wickets.
