TNI Bureau: A heartfelt tribute was paid to Late Sudipta Mohanty during the eleventh-day ritual following her demise. Memorial meetings were organized at Noida in Uttar Pradesh and Basudebpur in Odisha to mark the solemn occasion, where family members, relatives, friends, and well-wishers gathered in large numbers to offer prayers and remember her life.
At Noida, hundreds assembled at the Community Centre in Sector 52 to pay homage to the departed soul. Addressing the gathering, several distinguished dignitaries reflected on various aspects of Smt. Mohanty’s exemplary life and prayed for eternal peace for her soul.
Her husband, renowned chartered accountant Dr. Manoranjan Mohanty, Founder Chairman of ATD Group, President of Samudayik Vikash Samiti, Chief Patron of World Odisha Society’s UP Branch, and Founder-cum-Former Secretary of the Managing Committee of Noida’s Jagannath Temple, along with their daughter Arni Mohanty, expressed gratitude to all those who attended and offered prayers.
Remembering his wife, Dr. Mohanty described Late Sudipta Mohanty as an exceptional human being with immense warmth and grace. “She was a loving wife, a caring mother, and a responsible homemaker. Soft-spoken, gentle, generous, affectionate, and deeply religious, her sudden demise has created an irreparable void in the lives of all who knew her,” he said.
Noted singer Shilpika Juneja presented soulful bhajans during the prayer meeting, while ace anchor Pratima Sharma conducted the proceedings.

A separate prayer programme was also held at Dr. Manoranjan Mohanty’s native place, Bakharpur in Basudebpur, Odisha, to observe the 11th day of mourning. Thousands of family friends, relatives, and well-wishers gathered there to pay their respects.
Among the prominent attendees were Basudebpur MLA Ashok Dash, retired IAS officer Pradyumna Patnaik, former Chief Engineer Bibekanand Mohapatra, social leaders Gadadhar Das and Babaji Patnaik, lecturers Bhagirathi Palai and Lakshman Barik, Dr. Nigamananda Mohapatra, Prof. Piyush Ranjan Das, Surjya Narayan Das, and Tutu Babu from Sunhat.
Dr. Mohanty’s uncle, Suresh Chandra Mohanty, thanked everyone who participated in the condolence gathering and stood by the family during the difficult time.
