Germany beat France 1-0 to storm into the semifinals of the FIFA World Cup for the fourth consecutive time. The Germans became the first team to book a berth in the last four at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
It’s also Germany’s 12th appearance in the World Cup semifinals. Mats Hummels scored the lone goal for Germany. Despite trying hard, French players could not penetrate into the German net.
