A day after he was arrested for alleged land fraud, Sarala Realcon MD Gayadhar Jena has been sacked as the Vice Chairman of the OBC Cell of the Congress Party. The decision was taken by Odisha PCC President Jayadev Jena yesterday.

According to Sahid Nagar Police, six more people approached them with complaints against Sarala Realcon yesterday. The Sarala Realcon authorities are trying hard to sort out the issue and restore the trust among the customers.

While talking to The News Insight, a Sarala Realcon employee on the condition of anonymity, said, “This is a political ploy played by an influential person within our own party. There is an attempt to end Gayadhar Jena’s political career, as he belong to Jayadev Jena’s group. We are trying our best to reach out to our customers with assurance that they would get their plots/refunds soon.”
