For Teachers, Nitish Kumar is NO Tall Leader

Date:

TNI Bureau: Even though Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is riding high on the development plank and even yes the Prime Minister’s post in Delhi, teachers in his home state are not convinced. Nitish had to bear the brunt of the teachers during a visit to Madhubani yesterday.

A group of para teachers (contractual) staged a protest and even showed their slippers to Nitish Kumar, demanding parity in salaries and allowances with other regular teachers.

Ironically, the incident occurred during the Chief Minister’s ‘Adhikar Yatra’. The teachers had earlier protested against Nitish Kumar in East Champaran, Sitamarhi and Muzaffarpur districts.
