TNI Bureau: There was no surprise at all. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) led by Mayawati has decided to bail out the Congress-led UPA Government at the centre in Rajya Sabha on the issue of FDI in Retail.

While slamming the BJP and condemning Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj for linking BSP’s support to government to CBI pressure, Mayawati threatened to expose the saffron party and accusing it of misusing the CBI against her in the Taj Corridor case.
Mayawati completed her speech in Rajya Sabha amidst pandemonium and chaos, as the BJP members protested against her comments on Sushma Swaraj. She announced her support to the UPA Government during voting in Rajya Sabha, saying she did not want to give any advantage to the BJP.
