TNI Bureau: Switzerland, which is known for good administration and emerged as the best place to be donpato in 2013, no animals, particularly pets like cats and dogs are safe in the country as they are dinner of the farmers.

According to a report by the Swiss newspaper Tages Anzeiger, posted on Huffpost Weird News, some farmers in rural areas of central and eastern Switzerland love to have meat of dogs and cats.

Surprisingly, the farmers do not find any odd about it as they think “Meat is meat”.

It is shocking to hear that the pets are eaten in that country, which is known for its progressive animal welfare laws. Switzerland was the first country to ban cages in egg production, allow horses and cows to have regular exercise outside in summer and winter and mandate the laws for the pet owners to take training courses to care of their cute dogs and pets.
