TNI Bureau: They have been doing it for years, and did it again today, showing why they are dying an unnatural death in the state. The Congress Party yet again ignored Odisha in the Cabinet Reshuffle and upset the people of the state, while huring their pride and dignity.

Six MPs from Andhra Pradesh and three MPs from West Bengal were inducted by Dr. Manmohan Singh, but did not find a place for any MPs from Odisha. There was a hype of youth leader Pradeep Majhi and he was all set to get the final nod. However, his name was take off the list at the eleventh hour, giving huge disappointment to the people of Odisha.

Srikant Jena, who expected an elevation from the MoS to Cabinet rank, was too left disappointed. His claims were ignored yet again. Neither Bhakta Charan Das nor Hemananda Biswal were considered during the Cabinet Reshuffle.

The Congress cadres and leaders in Odisha were left demoralised and dejected with the latest development. They now feel shy of facing the public in their areas when the BJD accuses the Congress Party of adopting a step-motherly attiude towards Odisha.
