TNI Bureau: The Centre has officially disclosed the names of six security personnel who laid down their lives during Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. Their names have been included in the Army War Memorial’s 2025 Roll of Honour and will be engraved at the National War Memorial in New Delhi.

The martyrs are Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, Rifleman Sunil Kumar, Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar, Agniveer Mood Murli Naik, Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh and IAF Sergeant Surendra Kumar.

Rifleman Sunil Kumar was posthumously awarded the Vir Chakra, while Sergeant Surendra Kumar received the Vayu Medal. Operation Sindoor was launched after the April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack, with Indian forces targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
