BJP projects ‘Brand Modi’ in Delhi Polls

Date:

BJPIn a bid create the ‘Modi Magic’ in Delhi Assembly polls, the BJP has decided not to project any single leader as its Chief Ministerial candidate. The party would fight the polls collectively, using ‘Brand Modi’. The experiment was successful in Maharashtra and Haryana and the party wants to repeat it in Delhi too.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is aware of the fact. It does not want to take any chance. The party knows that it cannot beat the ‘ Modi Wave’ in Delhi. Thus, it is trying its best to impose Janakpuri West MLA and senior BJP leader Jagdish Mukhi as the Chief Ministerial candidate of the saffron party.

Even though the BJP keeps denying Mukhi as its Chief Ministerial candidate, the AAP has made it Kejriwal vs Mukhi battle in Delhi. The political pundits are amused at the desperation of the AAP, which wants to decide the Chief Ministerial candidate of the rival party. BJP is no mood to bite the bait as of now. Delhi may go to polls in January-February, it is believed.
