TNI Bureau: Shiv Sena Party workers on Tuesday removed the memorial of the Bal Thackeray at the funeral spot at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. The memorial was constructed for temporary period after party founder was cremated at the park.

The structure was removed in presence of Mayor Sunil Prabhu and senior Shiv Sena leaders. The process to remove the structure was completed in a peaceful manner.
Bal Thackeray died on November 17. The Sena workers had been demanding to build a memorial for him at the park, which had been rejected by the government.
