Bajrang wins Bronze at World Wrestling Championship

After Amit Kumar Dahiya’s Silver medal, India got another good news from the World Wrestling Championship, as Bajrang Kumar won a bronze medal in the 60kg freestyle category.

Bajrang-Kumar-WrestlingBajrang defeated Mangolia’s Nyam-Ochir Enkhsaikhan 9-2 in the bronze medal match. This is the first time India won two medals in the Men’s events at the World Wrestling Championship.

Earlier, the 19-year-old Bajrang had lost 0-7 to Vladimir Dubov of Bulgaria, but later qualified for the repechage. He defeated Shogo Maeda of Japan and Ivan Guidea of Romania before getting better of Enkhsaikhan to bag the bronze medal.
