Andy Murray created history, as he became the first Briton in 77 years to win a Wimbledon Title. Murray defeated top-ranked Novak Djokovic 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 in the final to lift the Wimbledon Open trophy.

The 26-year-old Murray, who hails from Scotland, reminded Britain of the past glory when Fred Perry won Wimbledon Open in 1936. That was the last time any Briton won the Wimbledon.
Murry had come closer to win the title in 2012, but he lost to Roger Federer in the final. He has been on a superb form in 2012-13 after winning the 2012 US Open, finishing runners-up at 2013 Australian Open and winning Olympic Gold Medal at 2012 London Games.
