Soon after swearing in as Maharashtra Deputy CM, Income Tax Department cleared properties worth over Rs 1,000 crore of Ajit Pawar seized in 2021. The development came after the Prevention of Benami Property Transactions Appellate Tribunal dismissed the charges.
