Fire kills 121 in Bangladesh Garment Factory

TNI Bureau: At least 121 people were killed and many others injured when a major fire broke out at a mufti-storyed garment factory at the outskirts of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

The garment factory was identified as Tazreen Fashions. The fire broke out late Saturday. While the police recovered 109 bodies from the building, 12 others died while trying to escape by jumping from the top.

Many people are still missing. Thus, the death toll could go up further. Efforts are on to locate the dead bodies.
