TNI Bureau: Odia spinner, who was ignored by the national selectors for the most part of 2011, has proved his mettle this year by taking wickets in every test match. Ojha, who played a key role in India’s victory over England at Motera with a 9-wicket match haul, has climbed to No. 5 position in the ICC Test Rankings for Bowlers.

Ojha was placed at 14th position before the Motera test. Sri Lankan spinner Rangana Herath climbed to No. 4 position after his 11-wicket haul against New Zealand. Dale Steyn continues to be on the top, while Vernon Philander (South Africa) and Saeed Ajmal (Pakistan) are placed at 2nd and 3rd spots respectively.
