TNI Bureau: Union Minister Srikant Jena, who hails from Odisha, held an unusual press conference in New Delhi and demanded the resignation of Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik over the alleged iron ore mining scam.

Jena alleged that Naveen allowed Rs 2,50,000 crore excess mining in irone ore and later imposed a fine of Rs 58,000 crore on the mining companies, including Tatas, Essel, Jindal, OMC and others. He further claimed that Odisha is sitting over a Rs 4 lakh crore mining scam.
