Gold Prices hit all-time High of Rs 31,850 per 10 Grams

TNI Bureau: Gold prices broke all its previous records and touched all-time high of Rs 31,850 per 10 grams on Tuesday ahead of the festival seasons Ganesh Chaturthi and Dussehra.

With the high price of the yellow metal, the customers now see no hope for making jewelries for the upcoming festivals and weddings.

The precious metal rose by Rs 240 to Rs 31,850 per 10 grams for 99.9% and 31,650 for 99.5% purity against the previous record of Rs 31,725 that was set on September 1.

Gold prices also rose to the highest level in overseas markets. In Singapore, it rose by 0.3 per cent to USD 1,697.20 an ounce.

The Silver prices also climbed by Rs 1,200 to Rs 60,200 per kg. The silver coins rose by Rs 1000 to Rs 75,000 for buying and Rs 76,000 for selling of 100 pieces.
