Riding high on Rohit Sharma’s historic knock of 264 off 173 balls, India demolished Sri Lanka by a huge margin of 153 runs to take a 4-0 lead in the five-match ODI series. At the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, the Lankans were no match to Team India in each department of the game.

Earlier, India had posted 404/5 in 50 overs, thanks to Rohit (264), Kohli (66) and Rahane (28).  In reply, Sri Lanka bowled out for 251 in 43.1 overs. Dilshan (34), Angelo Mathews (75), Thirimanne (59) and Perera (29) showed some sort of resistance, but not enough.

For India, Dhawal Kulkarni took four wickets, while Umesh Yadav, Stuart Binny and Akshar Patel took two wickets each.
