Sarojini Hembram to attend India International Trade Fair 2013
As Odisha has been chosen as the ‘Focus State’ at the upcoming 33rd India International Trade Fair 2013, Minister for Textile, Handloom & Handicrafts, Sarojini Hembram, will attend the inauguration ceremony to be held at 11 AM on November 14.
President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the India International Trade Fair 2013 at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Anand Sharma and South Africa’s Deputy Trade and Industry Minister Elizabeth Thabethe will be present at the occasion. Mrs. Hembram will inaugurate the ‘Odisha Mandap’ on the same day.
A large number of countries, including Afghanistan, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Czech Republic, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, South Africa, and Thailand will take part in the IITF-2013.
Interestingly, South Africa has been selected as the “focus country” for the second successive time in the fair. Bihar has been accorded the status of “partner state”, while Odisha will be the “focus state”. The Trade Fair will continue till November 27.
