Live Bombs recovered in Patna 48 Hours after Modi’s Rally

Date:

Even as Nitish Kumar slammed Narendra Modi, using strongest possible words at JD(U)’s Chintan Shivir in Rajjgir, his policemen recovered two live bombs from the Gandhi Maidan in Patna, 48 hours Modi addressed a massive rally on Sunday.

Nitish-Kumar-ModiOne live bomb was defused in the morning, while another one was recovered and defused this afternoon. It’s shocking that the bombs went undetected for 48 hours despite the fact that at least five blasts occurred at the same ground on Sunday, resulting in loss of lives and inflicting injuries.

At least 8 bombs went off in Patna ahead of Modi’s rally in Patna on Sunday, leaving six dead and over 100 injured. Fortunately, no stampede occurred. Nitish Kumar refused to accept the security lapse, but the recovery of two live bombs after 48 hours, clearly shows his government’s preparedness and strong approach towards the menace of terrorism.
