Dengue Fever grips Delhi, Cases top 3,500

The Dengue fever has triggered a panic in Delhi/NCR with the death toll touching five. In total, 3,519 positive cases have been reported so far. The latest death was reported from Rajouri Garden in West Delhi.

denguePeople, who died of Dengue in the Capital, include Phool Singh (47) from Ashok Nagar in West Delhi, Priyanka Shankar (21) from Pratap Nagar in North Delhi, Priya Jha (6) from Okhla in South Delhi, Priyanka Gautam (35) from Kishangarh in West Delhi and Yashica Narang (17) from Rajouri Garden in West Delhi.

Among the positive cases, 3,482 were from Delhi, while the remaining were the patients from adjoining areas, who came to the national capital for treatment. Situation is precarious in North Delhi, which has reported 1,621 positive cases so far.

1) High Fever
2) Severe headache
3) Pain behind the eyes
4) Nausea, Vomiting
5) Swollen glands
6) Muscle and joint pains
7) Rash
