Bollywood actor Vindoo Dara Singh and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) owner Gurunath Meiyappan were granted bail today in connection with the IPL spot-fixing scandal. Six bookied also got the bail by a local court in Mumbai.

While Vindoo was arrested for his alleged involvement in betting and spot-fixing, Meiyappan was charged of illegal betting and links with Vindoo. The latter is the son-in-law of BCCI President of N Srinivasan.

All the accused were granted bail on the bond of Rs 25,000 each. Vindoo and Meiyappan have been directed by the court to surrender their passports and not to leave the country. They will have to report to the Crime Branch at least twice in a week. While Vindoo was arrested on May 22, Meiyappan was picked up three days later.
