TNI Bureau: Demonstrating extraordinary dedication to duty, Booth Level Officer (BLO) Pramila Ojha of Booth No. 187 under the Kendrapada Assembly constituency completed 100 per cent digitisation of enumeration forms despite sustaining injuries in a lightning strike during official fieldwork.
According to official sources, Ojha was conducting field visits as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision programme when a lightning strike seriously injured both her and her daughter. The incident also completely damaged her mobile phone.
After receiving medical treatment, Ojha returned to work and, undeterred by the ordeal, completed the digitisation of all enumeration forms assigned to her before the deadline.
Her exceptional commitment and sense of responsibility have drawn praise from Chief Electoral Officer R.S. Gopalan. Kendrapara Sub-Collector and Electoral Registration Officer Arun Kumar Nayak also lauded her dedication on behalf of the administration. In recognition of her efforts and to support her work, he presented her with a new mobile phone.
Ojhaβs perseverance and devotion to public service have been widely appreciated, with officials describing her as an inspiring example of commitment and duty.
