TNI Bureau: More than 150 people were hospitalised after consuming contaminated food at a community feast in Bihar’s Supaul district, where dead lizards were found in the meal.
According to eyewitness Balkrishna Yadav, around 200 to 250 people were seated and eating at the feast when a full dead lizard was discovered in the food being served. Another lizard, found in pieces, was reportedly detected in the section where children were eating.
The discovery triggered panic and chaos among those attending the feast. Soon after, several people, particularly children, began complaining of stomach pain and other health issues.
Yadav said that around 60 to 70 children were admitted to the hospital following the incident. More than 150 people were reportedly hospitalised after consuming the contaminated meal.
